Peter Johnston, Design PrincipalPeter Johnston, AIA strives to enliven each and every project with color, materiality and geometric interest. He is passionate about sustainable initiatives, and pushes to incorporate not only the bold strokes, but the subtle nods that often make the most impact.
Peter is intimately involved with each project, overseeing all phases of the design and execution; he believes in the power of design, and the power of design professionals to act as client advocates.
Peter Johnston has taught at FIT and Drexel University, where he teaches upper level design studio. He received his Masters of Architecture from the Graduate School of Architecture and Urban Planning at UCLA.

Whether on the grand scale, including building systems like passive natural ventilation and daylighting, graywater collection and solar power generation, or on the smaller scale through ‘green’ finishes and furnishings, we strive to make sustainable solutions a cornerstone of our work
It is our goal to educate and guide clients along the path to a more sustainable finished product. No matter the scope, there is always a more sustainable choice to be made. We strive to balance each and every one of these choices, considering their cost, their effectiveness and potential benefits.
